mrwabbits
Morning, Have you tried putting gearbox in 1st gear/clutch lever out all connected, and getting someone to stomp on rear brake and steady bike while you undo it ? And per chance, is it left hand thread ? Not the same i know, but that technique works on my Harley. 88b
If the clutch plates are out you need a hub holder or an air wrench, that's how I get Harley's apart.Harleys have a left hand thread on the clutch hub but not sure about Suzukis, somewhere I have / had a Bandit manual but it's hiding at the moment
Rimfireboy
You need a clutch holder and don't forget to bend the locking tab flat on the lock washer before you start to undo the centre nut
Paddy Galore!
i made a clutch holder from a giant ring spanner for my old zimmer, copied it from a diagram in the special tools catalogue, that and a 4ft pole on the end did the job, over 220ft/lbs
poppythedog
Can you lay hands on an air or electric wrench? Leave all the plates in situ and press them together while firing the wrench. If you can't do it that way get a rod welded to an old steel clutch plate to make a clutch holding tool.
Glensman
Suzuki aren't left hand thread... All the other suggestions are correct...
