arjimlad
These piccies were well received on facebook & I was very happy with how easy the new camera was to use. Up to 24x optical zoom. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/210877-which-bridge-camera/ Because the spoilsports at Longleat insist you keep your windows shut, there seems to be a green tinge to the photos which I have put down to the tint in my car windows. humperdingle
Fujifilm cameras are usually pretty reliable... We have a Fuji compact and a Fuji bridge type, too. They're "Does as it says on the tin", reliable cameras.

Fisheruk
Yep great photos, looks like you had a good day out. How quick can the Fuji shoot. I have an older one and by the time it took a pic the subject had moved. What is the model mate?
arjimlad
Thanks for your kind comments & praise from Greengrass is praise indeed ! It's a 4240 from Tescos... only cost me £48 after turning in £50-worth of clubcard vouchers. I think the 4240 seems to be the one Tescos sell. Otherwise it's a 4200. Runs on AA batteries so easy to refill if they go flat. The shot is taken pretty quick - you can catch a smile. In sports mode it takes the shot very quickly.
