fenboy
Cheapest way to get some movement is with bouncers/floaters but you need some wind , keep a eye out in the sales for a second hand magnet they quite often come up cheap. Also flappers are good and can be had for around £40-£50.

ttab
If you can get some metal brick bands from a building site. Cut them to size and use under half shells with a slight breeze you will get a pecking movement  Edited June 25, 2012 by ttab
harpoonlouis
Agree with ttab or buy eezy wobblers and tie 2 or three together with a bit of thin twine of thread, just tug one from your hide and they all wobble like mad. I stuck a wiper motor in the middle of a pattern and just attached really thin elastic to a few wobbly deeks and they bobbed around all afternoon. Worked fine

Actionpigeons
Have a look on ebay lot of gear on it some new some old. Get a Bouncer or flapper new or 2nd hand. or get your self a steel rod and put a dead bird on it.
