Jesse James
I'm a happy chap once again today. Just as I thought there was no land available in Surrey (close to me any way) I just been signed off for 127 acres of bunny heaven. this place is a Race horse livery. The great news is that the horses are away by 2 pm until 6am in a yard complex and given the free area to roam behind brick walls, well out of the way. It simply pays to keep trying and asking and you never know when it pops up, even on your own door. lee.
libs
Careful with liveries. In my experience horsey people can be either right on country folk or card carrying RSPCA members! Hope you get on well there!
HDAV
Racing stables should be fine very different to "happy hackers" just point out a hoof in a rabbit hole often means a bullet for the horse! Congrats on getting permission
al4x
slightly different though Libs racehorse livery so the owners won't be seen in the same way. Sounds like a nice two way deal as with horses of value the last thing you want is them breaking legs in rabbit holes
Jesse James
Thank you gents and for the good pointers too. As Alex said these are high value horses, very high value being on top of Epsom race course.... and that's the reason too. (Spot on Alex). I'm to control the rabbits here. as several horses have been spooked by rabbits running out in front of them on the ride out to course. Most of the horse owners are living the high life aboard and they pay for livery and trainers to ride and train them here. the staff have been spoken to and all are more than happy for rabbits to be taken care off. as they don't want to be thrown or have a high value horse under there care as such have a injury due to rabbit warrens and holes. One lady has been thrown due to rabbits running out in front of horse,,,,, so they want then rid. thanks again for kind comments. lee

Could prove to be very lucrative, especially if its the .17 your using.
Jesse James
Why thank you kind sir, Funny enough we have had that conversation today,.... The owner said he would like to pay for my fuel and at least something towards cost of ammo. 42 rabbits 45 shots, .... most shot at 50 yrds to 75 yrds max. I nearly fainted when he said this, in years of shooting I have never had a whiff of this from any of my permissions I have. in one case to pay the farmer to shoot each year. ( small Syndicate I have). Think I finally landed on my feet here, he has also spoken about the land he owns on other side of road and other places in Surrey too he owns. Happy days. thanks again Lee Edited July 8, 2012 by Jesse James
