njc110381
I just stripped and cleaned my new Urika 2 for the first time. I remember my Xtrema being a bit of an *** when I tried to get the recoil bar that locates into the stock back in but it had nothing on this Urika! What a pain... It took me about ten minutes of fiddling about to get it to locate properly and to be honest it was down to luck that it went in. Is there an easy way to do it or is it just something I'll get the hang of after a few tries? Apart from this it's a lovely gun.

Fat Dog
Did you take the trigger group out ? Much easier to reassemble if you do.

fenboy
Yep the easy way to do it is drop the trigger out first
VicW
Hold the gun vertical resting flat on its recoil pad. Slide the tube and bar assembly over magazine and ensure that the bolt is properly engaged on the runners. You should find that the tail is at the right angle to the engage the recoil spring socket. But it is a whole lot easier with the trigger group removed 'cos you can see what you are doing. Vic.
