12 Gauge Dave
As the title says I am interested in buying a Beretta AL 391 Urika and I am just looking for any bad points or flaws in this model if there are any. I have a Beretta 682 Supersport O/U and a Mossberg 500 Pump which I both shoot well with, more so the Mossberg because of it's light weight and pointability(I think?). I would be using it mainly for clays and possibly pigeon. So basically I would like a semi-auto but I know some can be funny about cycling short and lower weight carts so any info would be great. I have seen this one at my RFD for £575 S/H, I've mounted it and it fits nicely and swings smoothly. So here's a link to the Ad. Cheers, 12GaugeDave

fenboy
Mine has been totally hassle free in the 2 years or so I have had it , no jams in that time , comp x shot fine in mine (28gram). however if you mainly shoot clays you would be better off getting the sporter model rather than the game model you are looking at, there should be plenty about around the £500 mark. coyotemaster
I believe 391s are what they shoot in the high volume Dove shoots in Argentina---that should speak of their reliability. I had one never a problem with it, should have kept it and bought a thinner pad as it was just a tad too long for me.
jackinbox99
Ive got one and have had it for god knows how many years. Easily 11 years I think. Ive shot thousands of shells through it. At one point id be doing 500 cartridges every weekend. Ive used it for pigeons and clays. Mines the 30" one. Ive only ever had 2 cartridges jam in all the time ive had it. I clean it twice a year and thats it. Its easy to take appart, clean and put back together. I usually use 28g cartridges, but have used no end of 21g and 24g in it before depending upon what my local shop had on offer. It`s cycled them all without any problems. Out of the box you get a lovely beretta case, a couple of recoil pads, shims to adjust the cast etc plus 5 chokes, plus oil etc. Its a nice little pack. The resale value of these guns is very high so they keep their value like mad. From the prices ive seen, if I sold mine now id get back virtually what i paid for it 11 years ago! Amazing. Ive had no problems at all. The finish on them is excellent, the quality of them is great. I love mine, its so easy to swing onto targets and the recoil is hardly anything.
