HDAV
From a guy with one who's trigger fell to bits in the middle of an OT comp, click no bang on second barrel, took trigger out and the mech just fell on the floor in bits. It got sorted but took a while. They are very good and perazzi service dept is very good as long as its been maintained and not abused no issue buying an older one. Tempting me now...... http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Shotgun/Perazzi-Mx8-gun-for-sale-gs82562.aspx Edited July 13, 2012 by HDAV

In all the years I've had Perazzis I've never seen anything as you've described it. Are you sure it wasn't just the remains of the main leaf spring broken? That'd be a common cause of a barrel not firing. It takes but a few minutes to replace it though, but those of us with a bit of experience have a set of spare triggers for even quicker replacement. That's something that can't be done quickly on the majority of guns, you're in the car going home as it's game over.

It wasn't me so I don't know, but carrying a "spare trigger" all guns will fail eventually if the springs etc aren't replaced so seems there are a few things to watch out for then, bit like pitted pins on Brownings (never under stood that)

shaun4860
Friend of mine had his v spring snap on sunday, used Perazzi's for years only the second time its happened, usually carries a spares that he has accumulated over the years, not this time, wrong bag quick fix though according to him
wildfowler.250
Is this for clays or game shooting? Doesn't matter how much more £ the gun costs, I think it's very hard to beat a silver pigeon in 20 bore. Just the right weight and balance
Cosmicblue
Take a look at the HPX Perazzi guns - kind of the next step on from the Blaser - custom made for you without a trip to Italy http://www.highclays...hpx-models.html and then further enhanced. I have an MX12 based Reference Sporter (coil trigger springs) on order now (circa 3 or 4 month wait), shooting one for the first time was a revelation and it's not like my existing favoured UltraXS is exactly shabby either. A seasoned MX8 shooter explained my experience perfectly 'the moment you think you should have pulled the trigger you are looking at a broken target' - a teeny, weeny bit surreal in practice. It will probably come now and I'll be hopeless Edited October 2, 2012 by Cosmicblue
