THE AD
I posted this before, but I modified mine... Might sound daft to cut bits off, but it saves on weight and makes them much better IMO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXp4qcDBkcQ do they face head into wind when modified, cheers. I went through the same thing and have managed to get my kit down to a total of just under 10kg. That includes 100l rucksack Two nets Bucket seat Twelve FUDs Turbo flapper Battery for flapper Timer for magnet Remote for flapper 60 cartridges Net clips and pegs Multi tool I changed to FUDs after using flocked shells and I haven't seen a difference in birds not liking them. I've had birds landing next to them many times. I didn't like the pegs they come with so I cut those off. This has saved weight and I can sit them as high as I want depending on crop. They also turn into the wind and bob about with the pegs I made for them. More than happy to put a post up showing a very simple peg that works. So thumbs up from me to the FUDs and since they have come down to £19,99 per box I think I'm going to get some more. Cos Show us how you made your pegs please i might do mine,Cheers. humperdingle
do they face head into wind when modified, cheers. Really can't remember, mate. I don't think the birds coming in take too much notice to be honest, either way.

Why did you stop using them? Do you think you need the 3d heads for the sillosocks? Have been looking at FUDs and Sillosocks and think I'm going to get some FUD's, I like the idea of the sillosocks but not sure about the silhouette heads. Are you planning on selling the sillosocks? I keep meaning to put my modification onto the site but never get round to doing it! It's a simple mod, takes minutes to do and yes they face into the wind. wickedwickedmotox
Frenchie, i use plywood cut out of crows spray painted black and they work exceptionally well! They pull crows?rooks in long distances and they land beside them! lots cheaper aswell.

here iam
Fuds are brilliant they do not need movement they work on 3 d photo realisim i have been using them for 2 years now and they never fail to properply decoy birds in of course the best decoys are shot real birds i tried the crow fuds did not decoy much with them i think they are not black enough full bodied flock coated work best in winter time when things are tuff over rape these things work, also what people also for get is that for every 4 fuds you put out you need two in the sentry postion
