T-Bolt94
I feel you pain! I have been through this all myself...I didn't like any of the ebay Barrel mounted ones as they may affect the rifles floating barrel and thus accuracy. Some of the ebay ones though I think look usable though I think I am going to buy myself a set of sticks much more versatile and can be used with a greater height range. Deben make a few decent pods and you can find them on Uttings I almost bought one but couldn't decide what length so decided not to.
Redgum
I have a edgar brothers bipod and cannot fault it, 9 to 13inch I think and cost just over £50 when I was at one of the gamefairs last year. It tilts with extendable legs and looks very well made. Excellent along with a rear bag for zeroing, takes out most of the 'you' factor.
