otherwayup
I was out with my ESS yesterday getting to know a farm near me. As we where walking the borders of a rape field my dog seemed to jump away from an area in the grass. I had a look about, but I couldn't see anything (worried about Adder, but don't think you get them around here much). A while later in a different area of the farm, the same thing happened. This time I saw the exact spot he didn't like, but there did not appear to be anything there. This is my first dog and he has never done this before (18 months old now). So what kind of scent could it have been to make him want to move away? Cheers. Edited July 22, 2012 by otherwayup

welsh1
My dog sometimes jumps back like he's been electrocuted when in the field, the reason, grasshoppers,he sniffs them, and when they jump he jumps back in shock,he never learns.
