telf
i have recently bought a new mtc genesis for my .22lr,whilst zeroing the rifle(anschutz 1417), at 60yds spot on,half mildot 73yds spot on,then at 84,95,103,107, poi is 1,inch to the left horizontally but spot on vertically, then starts to come back in at 114yds any ideas why, there was hardly any wind when zeroing atb dave
yankeedoodlepigeon
A crosswind?
njc110381
Hardly any wind will do on a .22lr at that range. As it's going out and then coming back that's my best advice, no fault that I know of will make the bullet fly in a horizontal arc?
kent
My bet is a wind popped up and then disapeared again. for a 1" deviation @ 100yds you only require 2 1/2 MPH full value wind "hardly any wind" in your own words
activeviii
could be something as simple as factory ammo. i dont know many 22lrs that will shoot a group out to 100 and beyond.
