FENDT
Hello Tikka Tom. I have Baikal Mp153.It is of typical russian workmanship no problem cycling 28g up to 50 gram. It will even take six shells without any mag extension but you have to know how to load it, one under the bolt. I use mine for beating cover for fox using 42gr NO3 (Fiocche) a sweet cartridge.Patterns well at 40yrds 3/4 choke 70 pellets in a six inch circle cant argue with that. Mine has a timber stock. I would recomend it. but if you feel you would like something more expensive that your decesion the MP153 is very reliable.
Cannon
A mate has one and they are solidly built. Heavy guns but they will last a lifetime. I've yet to see or hear of it jamming on anything from 28gm up. Anything below 28gm probably won't cycle the bolt.
