The Essex Hunter
I went out for a drive around one of the farms last night, and came across these 3. The lads were working in the fields behind me creating a plenty of noise thus distracting the first fox. I left it on the bonnet and drove over to see them. A young student jumped out of his tractor for a look, “did you just shoot that” ? yes….what with? So I showed him the .243….Well I think he was off to download the FAC forms!! The second kept showing in and out of the cover, so I called for a short while and out she came... And to the last fox, this one was moving up and down a hilly part of the farm and I was getting fed up driving up and down to catch up with it. So I parked up the top and called, I could see her quartering around in the distance, click bang whack…. I went back this morning to get a bit more perspective of the shot which was something different for a change to be honest.... TEH
