Markio
Dammit you've all been practicing, i don't mind loosing but loosing by a mile could make me all huffy and my bottom lip might take on a strange quivering action. MC
Markio, Between you and me, I haven't been practising. I haven't been shooting for a couple of weeks. And don't worry about Mungler he is fullof hot air and couldn't hit a cows **** with a banjo. Just turn up and have fun, that is what it is all about. Wherever you go you seem to find the "Spoilt kid" who has to win everything, and on Pigeonwatch that is Mungler
BTMS
Ah boys the bad news, I have just laid out a LARGE wedge for that target not to be working tomorrow Have arranged for all the targets to be changed tonight....................... Hoping the weather is going to be bright, sunny, windy, wet and snowing/blizzard. Betting odds so far evens LB gets lost..... Brian

Mungler
Bought it? As Martin will be able to vouch tomorrow, you just can't buy skill. He will however be paying £9 for the lesson. Prepare for a Mungling.

Mungler
Cheers TP, Mungler isn't it time you were in bed? After all you have got to perform tomorrow I have been all day in my oxygen tent in my pants and with my gun, becoming one with it. George D phoned up for a few tips from me, but I told him I was busy in preparation.
lurcherboy
Okay the plan I proposed to LB, is £4 each into a whip. Any prize fund to be divided into quarters. 2 x 1/4 for 1st 1 x 1/4 for 2nd 1 x 1/4 for 2nd worst I will have a side bet with Mr. Cavie - a crisp £5 note says he's going down town courtesy of Mr. Mungler. No you didn't you two bit hustler it was £2-3 and you made a special rule that says second to last wins low gun pot. Guessing thats where you aim to be? Ah boys the bad news, I have just laid out a LARGE wedge for that target not to be working tomorrow Have arranged for all the targets to be changed tonight....................... Hoping the weather is going to be bright, sunny, windy, wet and snowing/blizzard. Betting odds so far evens LB gets lost..... Mungler
Well if luck be a lady then her name is Martin Cavie. What can I say, with the help of some iffy trapping and scoring, Mr. Cavie beat me by one on ESP. However I like to think the true mark of a good shooter can be found in the discipline of DTL Well I do now anyway. No doubt there is much more to come... including the chronicles of LB as he plots his course back round the M25 but hopefully the right way this time. Twas a great day, really enjoyed it and good to put more names to more faces - it was good to see that the people that came were not mad urine soaked internet mass murdering weirdos - well LB did confirm he was not a mass murderer anyway. Roll on the Horne and Dartford re-match. By the way, the overall winner was Brian who shot magnificently - but that was to be expected, after all he had his name embroided on his tabard. Oh yes, and to round my winning streak off, I have got 3 points coming to me from the journey home - I missed the camera van until it was too late. Markio
It was a top morning! Enjoyed myself no end and had my first taste of DTL. It was great to meet such an excellent crowd and shall definitely do it again (if you'll all let me ). Braintree is a lovely ground to shoot at, there are targets even i can hit! Well it's four hours since we stopped shooting and even LB should have made it home by now. Nick's got the score cards so hopefully they'll get posted soon! P.S. Mungler, sorry to hear about the speed trap, coincedently my license was waiting on the doormat when i got home with 3 extra points on it. MC
Mungler, Aren't those vans all brightly coloured so you can see them from a distance. Expensive morning for you then, I haven't decided whether to spend your fiver or frame it. Still if you want a rematch then I may as well spend it, There'll be more to come. It was an excellent morning and well done to Brian for good shooting again, although the scores were a lot closer this time around.

Markio
did anyone hit that battue off the tower? Yeah Mungler, 5 out of 6 if i remember right, although it did cost him £40 to do it, it only cost me 6 carts to miss it so i think i came off better. Hang on, i think Martin got it at least once, to be honest i think he just glared at it and it thought it would be best if it just fell apart. P.S. Nick, where the chuff are the score cards? Chop chop!
lurcherboy
Nick is out with a little rennie, lucky plonker I dont smell of pee-pee mungler it's dog scent, sex god fumes and diesel. I got home at 20:00 hrs if your interested Markio Which is well quick as we went via heathrow to see what was occuring round that manor and then travelled to outer Mongolia to check out what horses was up for sale. Anyway it was nice to meet you Markio, Ron ( a right joker ) and Mungler who is so camp he bought atent a sleeping bag with him I have never shot with a bloke wearing lippy before Forgot to mention that I came last as I was making the others feel good about their lacklustre performance.
