Axe
Found this in Attleborough's catalougue, its a bit pricey at £45 but has anyone tried one? What with the wet season coming up it sounds like a cracking idea to me, especially as i'm not so good free standing.

I think there could be someone attempting to have a go at a homemade one I've seen them in the flesh. They look very inpressive Jonno
Big Dog
Would you want something so tight around your waist? Not good in my book; comfort, bad in cold weather reduces the thickness of you insulation etc What about climbing over fences and hedges? Have you though of a tripod? I have one Bushman I think, black about £35. I like it. Fully adjustable, you can sit, kneel, stand - I am over six foot. Very light, can be carried set to use and when you have to climb a fence, throw it over first. I need as much stead as I can get. The tripod steadies the gun, I still move a bit. Dunkield
I am normally a sucker for gimmicks, so I tried one of these at the game fair and to be honest it was awfull. Th support flops about when you are not using it, and it gives the impression it would not last very long as the snap in/out bit is very flimsy I wouldn't buy one. Devilishdave
I drop my right shoulder and put my left elbow on my left hip to get a similar support using my own skeliton which you can be sure never to leave dehind or get caught on a branch etc. I normaly use double sticks though Dave

Guest jonrms
Stuart thank you for that comment.. I was reading this and was going to buy one because of my new nv scope... which as you know is VERY HEAVY expecially when you have a very bad back like me... I dont want to lug around much and feel that it could have been good.. but I will take your word.. so far you have yet to lead me astray... (so far!!!) lmao. Anyway thanks for the heads up...
