Blunderbust
gawd!!!! I am sooooooooooo lucky..my misses loves fishing and shooting, ive never had a problem buying anything..... mind you..she is **** at housework, but her cooking is good, my advice would be is.... buy the gun, let her go to france ...when she comes home..present her with a brand spanking new ironing board I am like you John, we have never ever tried to tell each other what we can and can't buy. Although I have to admit for my last purchase at the beggining of this month we both sort of thought I would spend about 2 grand but after temptation got the better of me and a nice new Swaro Z6i 2nd gen scope (which was £2007 on its own) a new .22 rimfire, a new 300 win mag and a bill of just over 41/2 grand I think I might have to start smoothing the way and let her down gently. I just need to try and work out how. Utectok, just get it mate and face the music when it all comes out.
Dirty Harry
You blokes are lucky. My Mrs is a chartered accountant. My wages go into the joint account and she has an account for savings that I can't access! She is the accountant for my local gun dealers so I can't lie about the prices because she could just ring the boss up and ask! The last 2 guns I bought were shotguns for my kids. There was no complaining about those but if I were to buy a new one for me she would kick off. Maybe my kids need a .243? Harry
leeds chimp
The threads that say "my Mrs wont let me do XYZ" really make me laugh! I've never ever dictated what my other half can or cant do in our relationship, and wouldn't accept him dictating to me either! Live and let live, or jog on and then you get walked all over........as I use to get with my ex's Now I do stand my ground but I admit I am too laid back about most things to kick up a fuss
jasper3
I always found especially with the 1st mrs jasper to just stand there with a trickle of dribble running down the side of your mouth and a blank expression always worked well the present mrs jasper MK2 is superb... if we have money we spend it.then we enjoy it, just had a wonderful payout with those PPI claims , thats how the new camera and all the gear was bought.... I did buy her an Ipod .i don't believe in rainy days or saving up for the care home..you could be dead tomorrow..enjoy every minute
drut
My life has taught me a little about training dogs but precious little about managing women!
