Gregthegreat
Popped out tonight with the .22 to bag a couple of rabbits for the pot. I deliberately left the .223 at home so I wouldn't be tempted by a long night after the foxes. I've recently got on top of them but as soon as I took a walk along the edge of the horse paddocks I picked up a fox on the **** heap. It dropped down the back and was nowhere to be seen so I continued along the edge of the paddocks. I started to hear a crunching sound of something happily chewing on an unfortunate victim so flicked the lamp on and picked up a set of eyes moving around in the undergrowth no more than 35 yards away. A quick squeak to get it to stop for a second and I caught square between the eyes. Now I'm no judge or jury but I think this is good enough to justify the sentence... Birx
Looks like you blew that bird to smithereens - just after it had eaten the legs off that poor fox!

Reece
Good work. Must be very lucky to manage to get that on camera. To paraphrase someone on here somewhere: "LACS headline: Pheasant attacks innocent fox's mouth."
