mad1
Thanks for your feedback every one !! One thing I can see what people mean is it looks a bit dated sometimes But I am not a gun snob ( if it sends lead to where I want it that's good enough for me ) is there any stocks avail or upgrades to make it more appealing ?? Thunderbird
Considering you'll probably use it over 50% at night then who gives one what it looks like?
Dekers
The varmint in the 527 aint a heavy gun and can be shot off hand by any healthy bloke, shoten the tube some and its very handy with a moddy on aswell. Compared to my 308 varmint Remington 700 pss scoped up that weighed 15 1/2 lb without a moddy, its a featherweight and Albert888's is lighter than the average .243 sporter i recon before he put the moddy on Ha Ha, No point in carrying around ANY more weight than required in my view! I have no need for a Varmint CF (or Rimfire) barrel for field use, and even a few grammes make a difference after a couple of hours in the field! According to CZ the 527 Varmint Weights 7.8lb and the 527 American 5.9lb, that is a hell of a difference! Call me a tart if you like, but I go light, and made it clear it was a personal view! Quote "Fine bits of kit but personally I have no use for heavy barrels for field use!" Others may like heavier guns for whatever reason, fine, but not me! The Varmint kevlar wears one of the best stocks made by HS Stocks Carbon kevlar mix with ali bedding block. The Lux will carry great walnut with Ebony cappings, the American is a very modern sporter stock again with fairly decent walnut and grip and forearm checkering. Albert 888
Guntrader has a few different types of 527's on. May be worth a look.http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/CZ_Rifle_527-Varmint_For-Sale_100819132033005 Edited October 7, 2012 by Albert
Dunkield
Does the CZ one have that hair trigger feature where you push it forward? I know the 243 does. The standard trigger is adjustable, mine had single set, but I dialed that out and it now has just a light(ish) trigger without the single set option.
