Jamacan rum........needs jazzing up

Evening boys and girls Ive been given some jamacan rum 80 % proof,but it tastes like cak ca,

My question and all veiws are most welcome,would it be possible to jazz it up like making a liquire like sloe gin??

My idea was blackberry rum as the sloes are lacking...........as said ideas and recipes more than welcome

Mix it with decent ginger beer. We used to do it 50/50 a pint at a time in the army in Germany. Great stuff, I once tripped over in the bogs after a load of that stuff and removed a urinal from the wall with my face. Didnt feel a thing and not a scratch.

As above,have obliterated any memory of a night out after mixing it with good ginger beer.
