hawkeye
Will these stop the glare from a gun mounted lamp. And if so what happens if you fire more than 1 shot and the mod gets hot does the cover melt

Dunkield
I have put about 10 quick shots through my PES with the 'cover' on (bike inner tube) and it was fine, didn't melt or even feel like it was getting too hot. The bike tube came with a sort of chalk up the inside so it went on nice and easy + the fact the PES is not matte like the T8.
Graham M
Will these stop the glare from a gun mounted lamp. And if so what happens if you fire more than 1 shot and the mod gets hot does the cover melt No it doesn’t get hot enough to melt, BUT! It does hold the heat in your moderator; a bit like a hot water boiler jacket. Found this out whilst trying out my rifle when I was having problems with my T8. Don’t know if it matters but it did seem to keep a lot of mirage in front of the scope for quite a log time. G.M.
