born_2_kill
Welcoming opions on the above gun, I'm looking at the MARINE (silver) version in particular, priced at around £395 new. This will be my first semi (shotgun) and I'm looking for a good alrounder with chokes to boot, this caught my eye cause I like the bling. So a good gun for under £400 quid or stay clear? Heres a little picture for viewing pleasure....
Dempy
I have one and I cant complain, it does exactly what I want it to do, it cycles anything that I put it in it, it shoots straight and I don't care what happens to it. There is a reason why it is the best selling semi on the market at the moment.
born_2_kill
Great, I dont know much about semi's but doesnt it come in 1+4 loading format as standard which will have to be changed?
BerettaSV10
Not sure about that version of the escort, but have bought the latest version of the escort. it does what it says on the tin, pull the trigger and it hits the clays. Its a marmite gun and you will get as many escort haters as lovers of the gun. Quality wise comparing it to the likes of berettas, benellis etc its not in the same league. For the price its a good gun though I would say get the latest version with the extended chokes, and the 3" chambered version. It can be fussy on cartridges at the moment mine does not like the soft recoil of Hull Comp x's but cycline fine on Hull intercomp HV's 28g. Great, I dont know much about semi's but doesnt it come in 1+4 loading format as standard which will have to be changed? Not sure how they come imported into the UK, but mine is SGC specification. of 2 + 1 Edited October 22, 2012 by BerettaSV10
bunnybasher84
Fantastic cheap shotty, got one myself just had it 3 years never missed a beat. When i picked it up in the shop it felt as good as any top brand shotgun that starts with a B. You wont go far wrong.
bruno22rf
Bought a cheap one for my lad in case he got bored with shooting and he never gets to use it cos I love it-would shy away from the Marine if I was going pigeon shooting though-toooo shiny.
