tikka.223
Has anyone on here experience of Event tyres? Looking on flea bay I came across these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4x-225-70-16-102H-Event-ML698-All-Terrain-4x4-Tyres-225-70-16-New-Tyres-x4-/160899744114?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&fits=Tyre+Width%3A225%7CAspect+Ratio%3A70%7CDiameter%3A16&hash=item25765f4172 they are a BF Goodrich AT copy but according to the seller the are chinese made and not a remould/retread like Insa Turbos. Any input welcome.
MITCHF
Had them on my Vitara , no problems with wear or road noise. Did the job off road.
casts_by_fly
I don't know event, but i just put on 4 insa's in the same tread. So far so good. Road noise is low, mileage hasn't changed though it is early yet. And they were only 62 a tyre. Either way, here are the events cheaper than ebay (where i just got mine): http://tyresdirectuk.co.uk/shop/product-info.php?prodname=&id=17270 Rick

Jag
Hi there, I've used Event for the last few years, always turned up on time, good prices, all in all a nice professional service.
PhilR
Jag this isn't about the tyre fitting company also called event tyres. There's a manufacturer with the same name. BTW I've always had good service and a good price from the tyre fitting co.
click
I have just bought 4 to go on the steels for the T4, my local tyre dealers told me they sell a shed load of them. At £62 a boot I will be happy to get 2 winters out of them.
al4x
There was a piece on tv the other day about some of the cheap tyres coming out of China and the far east at the moment. Things like stopping distances etc were pretty shocking, obviously these are a blatant BFG copy tread pattern wise so that may be their origin. On a shooting bus it shouldn't be an issue but if you do many road miles and much motorway work then its worth a good check on what they are like performance wise
