Has anyone on here experience of Event tyres?

Looking on flea bay I came across these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4x-225-70-16-102H-Event-ML698-All-Terrain-4x4-Tyres-225-70-16-New-Tyres-x4-/160899744114?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&fits=Tyre+Width%3A225%7CAspect+Ratio%3A70%7CDiameter%3A16&hash=item25765f4172 they are a BF Goodrich AT copy but according to the seller the are chinese made and not a remould/retread like Insa Turbos.

Any input welcome.

I don't know event, but i just put on 4 insa's in the same tread. So far so good. Road noise is low, mileage hasn't changed though it is early yet. And they were only 62 a tyre.

Either way, here are the events cheaper than ebay (where i just got mine):

Thanks for the replies, the only thing putting me off Insa's is the fact there a remould/retread so thats why I was thinking of the Event ones.

There was a piece on tv the other day about some of the cheap tyres coming out of China and the far east at the moment. Things like stopping distances etc were pretty shocking, obviously these are a blatant BFG copy tread pattern wise so that may be their origin. On a shooting bus it shouldn't be an issue but if you do many road miles and much motorway work then its worth a good check on what they are like performance wise
