chrisjpainter
I've got a rapid but after shooting a daystate mk4 it seems agricultural. Can't stop thinking about trading in now. I was a bit wary of the electronics though. Might go with the air ranger but I'm not sure. It's hard to decide. I like the super ten carbines though. Seem to hold their value. go with the Mk4! I was talking to Daystate the other day and they have far more mechanical guns going back to them than electrical ones. I had an Air Ranger for all of about 3 weeks. took an age to get grouping and found it a bit cumbersome! Mk4is is a different gun altogether. smaller air capacity i guess, but much lighter for it! What's this grouping problem with the rangers? I've heard about this elsewhere. Any other common problems with them? I'd like to know about it if there is. For the money I'd expect trouble free shooting. Thanks.
bullet boy
Ive never had dealings with the R10 but all i can say is the Rapid is a superb rifle! My advice is to take a closer look at the Daystate Air Ranger!I love mine and its a keeper!!Brilliant gun!
bullet boy
explain how the ranger is better? ?? I prefer my Air Ranger over my Rapid cos its smoother and easier to cock, like the Bolt on the back of the action instead of the side and like the onboard air fuel gauge which the Rapid doesnt have.Thats my opinion. simon6ppc
to be honest daystate do build a very very nice gun, end of, but down at our gun club the ones i ave shot just dont seem to group right when you use magazines with them, single shot there bang on,one was even a red ranger and still the same,if i could find one that groups like a hw100 or my rapid i would buy it tomorrow as the shots per fill, trigger and feel of them is brilliant..just my opinion.... chandler
Had an HW100, brilliant gun. Then got a used R10 mk1 and had it standard tuned by XTX air. Can not praise his work enough. I love the gun and all in for a reasonable £500.
