With the weather drying the ground up a little I called Olly (Essex Eagle) to look around some land we have not shot in a while.

The first fox disappeared only to reappear behind us out around 150 yards Big mistake!

Click and Whack from the 700….On across the same field and a whisper from Olly "Charlie" Gun on the sticks too see a fox trying to wiggle into the rape… Number 2.

Second farm is on the way home and set of ruby eyes out in the distance, Ollys turn on the gun and the fox is trotting away, Olly has learnt to be quick so a big whistle from me while I was tracking the fox. Two seconds later it laid dead at 174 yards! Cracking shot….Quick picture and home for a cupper.

Nice going Timbo, you should leave them on the bonnet, they make good eye brows for the truck

That is a tail to tell......they usually get stacked behind the bull bar and come for a ride around until we have finished, but one farm requires us to nip through the village and people often are having a fag outside the pub where I have to turn left!

Quite gald it is a country pub :innocent:
