macs beretta
Bonjour chaps Can i ask pleaz would anyone consider buying a Beretta Silver Pigeon 687 Ltd edition 12b with a cracked stock (Pistol grip area) It has been proffessionally repaired by a local gunsmith and although you can see where the repair is,its sound and has had a further 4000 carts up it since. I know someone one will say this is not the correct section for sales but the reason for my post is just to get an idea if its worth trying to sell. I`m gettin out of shooting hence the gun and other gear sales in the last few days. Cheers chaps for any constructive comments it would be appreaciated Regards Andy
al4x
simple answer is at the right price it will sell, but will be a reasonable amount less than one without a repaired stock
harrybarry
As you said its been repaired professionally, i would buy a gun with a repair as long as the price is right !!

Whitebridges
You might consider replacing the stock? Might be worth it if the repair isn't so good and you can find a replacement at the right price. if you go this route try and match it with the forend the best you can. A new stock would add considerable value to the gun if you were looking to move it on. Good luck. mr salt
was it cracked / split just to one side of the safety? if so i have seen this a few times. if its cheap buy it .stocks do turn up on the bay. if your just going to sit in a ditch with it ,it will be fine!! it boils down to money, there are good guns but need to be right to hold there value.
