Hi everyone

Just wanted to introduce myself on the Forum..

Im looking at gaining some experiance in Pigeon shooting, never done any thing other then clay shooting for the last few years, and really want to give it ago.

Obviously I have my SG license and I have also joined the BASC for Insurance purposes etc.

I live in Bristol and wondered if there was anyone willing to take me out so I can see what it is like before I start marching around the countryside to try to locate some Farming Land to shoot on.(I may not even like it ;) )

Im in my very early 40s so have a bit of sense about me

If anyone can assist please give me a shout

Thanks

Spaniel

Spaniel, I'm in a similar position in as much as i'm waiting for my licence to come through and I have to wait until i'm asked to go with a mate which is very frustrating! If my licence is sorted sooner than you have any offers i'll bear you in mind if I secure land quickly, (quite optomistic on that score). Not much of an offer I know but you never know!

Thanks Ziplex, I appreciate the offer.

I think it normaly takes around 12 weeks max for the license, the guy who comes around for the home visit is very friendly, wil ask a few questions and then he may ask to have a look at the cabinet etc

Cheers

Spaniel

No worries.............

Wol,

I am only down the road from you, I would love to take you up on your offer. (if it is open to all) I can't find any shooting anywhere at the moment. I may have more luck as most of the local farmers are starting to prepare their fields for another crop.

Popped into manor farm nr Upton cheyney(Bitton) and the guy mentioned that there is a gang of local guys who go pigeon shooting on a saturday, so i am going to pop back out on Friday to see if he has manged to find any details..

Not much activity on the Wildfowling front down here either at the present time, so still looking for my 1st live shoot....
