The only thing i can say is make sure you're ferret finder works. Last year mine packed up whilst i was trying to locate a ferret that had layed up, thing just kept crackling, didnt even work with the spare collar. I stayed for as long as i could searching, put out boxes and cage traps and went back twice a day for the next month but no sign of my little sandy jill :(

naw, the best thing is to take a young lad and let him do all the running, kneeling

I am the young lad mate, 32 but my knees still ache when I am kneeling on a workshop floor and then on the frost at the weekend.

My 70 year old dad will appreciate the knee pads this weekend and I bet you still enjoy the running today as you did when you had your first rabbit bolt years ago.

small spade from screwfix works really well when digging deep holes and room is tight.....i use this one from screwfix http://www.screwfix....nt-shovel/53829

a machete is a must for clearing brambles and the likes of.

And a t bar for probing tubes is a must when digging......if you need one pm me i make and sell them on evilbay.

flask and sandwhich's or soup in the flask its hard work digging and works up a hunger.

These are what I use, made the graft, and resurrected the long handled slasher and the short one, the digging spoons and the grass hook came from a boot sale….with not a screw fix catalogue in site :innocent:
