Reece
I thought this might be an interesting topic of discussion. Has anyone (or anyone you know) had any experiences with antis disrupting shoot days or anything like that?
bi9johnny
We were once fishing a low water tide near us and a group decided to try and interfere with the cars it was very dark and when someone alerted us it was hilarious watching them running for their life along the promenade with about 30 mad anglers in waders giving chase
anser2
We have had a litle trouble with a couple of anties flashing torches about on morning flight. The first time this happened I flashed my torch back and the woman became perplexed and cleared off. The second time a bloke was flashing his torch a few hundred yards off and made a good job of diverting several bunches of duck over me. I thanked him as i walked off past him. These people belong to a local group and rarely are a serious problem , but it is a bit anoying to find posters on your windscreen when you get back to your car. Big Mat
There is a man ( who is known to the clubs ) who drives along the sea wall at sheps during the flight. He was there a few weeks ago flashing his light about, despite from requests from a fellow fowler he continued causing some fowlers who don't know about him to come off the marsh because they thought something was wrong! His actions diverted several skeins of geese and messed up the flight!

Redgum
antis disrupting shooting, you should have been in Gloucestershire a few months back when Brian Mays brigade were about.
Reece
Just remembered something which happened on a grouse moor near me a while ago. Apparently, some protesters were walking across a moor, trying to drive the grouse away from the guns. It turns out they had been paid to do it. Clearly, they were just in it for the money - the shoot paid them some more money and they joined the beating team for the day!
