byrney
Just though I'd let you all know that after reading many a good review I decided to invest in a pair of Aigle Parcours wellies. They where considerably more expensive than I had paid in the past but I thought you would pay for what you get. My last pair where Avon Muck Boots which where OK but the sole wore down at a shockingly fast rate, 12 months and they where goosed. The Aigle where fine for a few weeks and then they sprung a leak on the right boot, around where the sole is bonded to the boot, I contacted the seller as I bought them off ebay and was told to return them so he could take a look as in his words he had sold 1000's and this was only the second pair with a problem. I bought myself a £7.00 pair of boots from Windsors to be going on with and paid £15.00 to return the Aigle and fair enough the seller sent a replacement pair back within a couple of weeks. That was 9 weeks ago and after only light use (2 dog walks a day) both boots are leaking around the toe this time. I have contacted the seller again and will keep you posted of progress, there is no way that I am so unlucky that I get the only two pairs that leak out of 1000's the only conclusion I can draw is that there is a design fault with the Parcours, I can't comment on the rest of the range. The ironic thing is that the £7.00 pair don't let a drop of water in. This is the problem with buying off the net, you might save a few quid at the time but it costs every time you get a problem and have to send stuff back, you can't beat being able to pop back to the shop if you get a problem. Well all be moaning when all the shops have gone bust due to internet sales. Back to top Quote MultiQuote Edit
Blunderbuss
I've had a pair for 3 years now and they are as good as new, leak free, comfortable and warm. I would definitely buy another pair, but I doubt I'll need to for a few more years. I think you've been very unlucky.
rimfire4969
A have had these for a good few years. First pair still going strong, neoprene inside but too warm for most of the year. I also have a pair with the leather interior, best boots I have ever had and not had a problem with either pair. Luck of the draw. I did buy mine locally but still no problems. 955i
Is there a possibility that they could be fakes or factory seconds?

Bewsher500
i have had parcours for years, 3rd pair I think never had a leak around the foot but i did find that long term they would not stand up fully and perished around the middle shin. never been wading that high. sounds very unlucky write to aigle, you will be surprised what manufacturers will do if you send a polite and reasonable request and explanation

The boots are definitely genuine I'm thinking they must be part of a faulty batch, it can't be down to luck with two pairs in a row. The seller has kindly offered a full refund but I am faced with another £15.00 postage fee. Ill write to Aigle and see if they have had any problems recently. silver pigeon 3
I have the Aigle iso open boots and they are fantastic, however about 4 months ago i went to do the zip up and it broke. I contacted the seller and they said leave it with us and we will sort it. About 15 minutes later Aigle uk rang, and said that there was already a new pair on the way and when they arrived could i make sure i was happy with the replacement and cut the Aigle logo from the old boots and post back to them. New boots arrived the next day and cost of a stamp to send the logo bits back to them. top service
