Catweazle
yes beautiful for holidays but would you want to live there? totally swamped with tourists all summer, half the shops closed in winter. Sounds OK to me, the tourists bring the money and work in summer, then you get winter off to go fishing. I just moved from the South East, there's still a lot of money and work there but it's not so nice to live there as it was 15 years ago. There seem to be feral kids screaming around on mini-motorbikes everywhere, pubs are closing down, ****** steal everything that isn't set in concrete, almost everybody works in London and spends 3 hours a day getting to work and back on crowded expensive trains, town centres are dead because of huge out-of-town supermarkets, the local garage is now a £5 hand car wash full of Lithuanians, the ex Tamil Tiger who owns the local off-licence sells booze and fags to kids who leave bottles and litter on the pavement next to the huge **** that their psychotic bull terrier just did, you pay £300,000+ for a 3 bed semi on 1/10th acre because it's only 2 miles to the railway station. That's not quality of life to me, they can keep it.

welsh1
pembrokshire for me....nice beaches and good surf mikky It certainly is a stunning place to live, but the survey took into account the job market and average salaries,Pembrokeshire is not the best place in the world for a well paid job,on the positive side a 3 bedroom semi goes for about 90-120k so it can balance itself out. I travelled the world for 14 years and ended up back in Pembrokeshire.
