Donnie
I have been given all the trimmings from when the local chip shop for when they prepare the fish, will this be any good for feeding a flight pond?

oscarsdad
Ducks eat fish in the wild, but I think scraps will attract rats.
anser2
If they did i doubt if you would want to eat the duck. Apart from sawbills duck do not normaly eat fish , but they will not pass up an easy meal. In Canada mallard often feed on dead salmon after they have spawned. I have eaten the odd mallard with a very fishy taste. Shot a couple a few years ago that were packed full of tiny crabs , but the birds stunk out the kitchen while being cooked and tasted awful. Even the dog would not eat them. The chip shop spud peelings will be fine , but do not use fish trimmings.
