HotShot!
Got a hell of a lot of geese on mine and my neighbours fields. Picking all of the rotten potatoes that came out the back of the harvester last year. They are tramping the wheat and packing the soil ! We went yesterday in the morning with some home made silhouette type decoys and some greylag rags. But the wind was against us because we were new to the neighbours field we didn't know of anywhere else to go ! It hit 8.00 am and we heard the first honks. They were coming from the River Foulness about 100 yards from the field ( if anyone shoots this please post with advice ). About 750 were keen to come in but the did not like the wind. After a slight failure we had a walk round in the day light and found a dike with 360 shooting but plenty of cover. Could have decoys on both fields. After finding this we went back at 2 o clock but they had moved on to other fields for feeding. We walked down to the flooded river and waited. Had a few come in but nothing special. Shot 3 teal though ! Anyhow the jist of it is I am wanting to purchase more decoys. Have 10 home made and 10 windsock bags / rags. They are ok but i was just after some more to make a bigger pattern. Can anyone advise me on some good decoys. But remember I am from yorkshire and not keen of paying much haha. Thanks very much HotShot! henry d
Get some shells and ensure they are painted right on the tail feathers and belly/flanks then stick them in a field they want to be in and finally call to get their attention then shut up and shoot them as they put their paddles down. ayano3
I think its best if you invite us all to come and shoot them for you. That way you wont need to spend any money on decoys or cartridges :-D :-D

chris o
I like the silosocks. Good for pinks and greys plus you can carry 20+ at great eas and comfort and they move well in the wind. But the stuff riverside outdoors do is even better mike slater and his son are great guys I am mates to both of them and shot with mike twice but the video he has of his deecs in use no longer supplies that type but a even better foam full bodied deec that folds flat to carry and look real and look like they are walking across the field when the wind hits them. I've decided if the want the field bad enough they'll come in anyway
