mayfly36
My lad has a civic 2005 sport, had a bit off an accident tonight, and it seems the fuel has been cut off, sounds like a safety feature, like an inertia switch. Is there a fuel reset button on the civic, or is there a way to reset the fuel system.

Tam
Try & see if the glove box will pop down. They are sometimes on the A post but usually on the centre (right hand) side of the glove box - hard to find They are like a square relay with a button recessed on top - you might need to feel for it Edited January 3, 2013 by Tam
mad1
I had a mg turbo ( yeah I know !!) years ago and it was behind the centre console ? I used to trigger it just incase some one might have wanted to pinch it :-

Many thanks S/C i have the lower cover off,but i need to get down and have a good look in the morning, when ive gathered my thoughts, and calm down. Is it a switch that i need to flick or a reset button. Do i need to remove the glove box or can i get at it with the lower cover removed. Tam
They are like a square relay with a button recessed on top - open glove box, squeeze the side tabs in & it should drop
