As you are always getting on about my shooting thought I would post this to prove you wrong.

Spent most of the day shooting rats at one of my farms........ We smoked them out then

......Washed them out with the hosepipe never saw one.

She said they are always there just after 7pm so being the gentleman that I am (SHUT IT YOU 2) I went back for 7pm hung about till 7.45pm not a sign of the bloody rats.

So in a polite way said nothing about im off after foxes on another farm.

Got to the other farm set the light up on the car and one on the gun (223) set of down the first field.............two thirds of the way down the field I spotted a pair of eye's on the track at the end of the field.........

So as not to scare him i switched the lamp off and used the gun lamp as this one had a red filter on it and a dimmer switch... he started to walk away and in the scope I could see it was defiantly a fox so gave it a quick squeak it stopped and BANG it never even heard the shot..........

Looks to be on the back a wee bit, but that does not matter and thats the reason to use a .223.:lol:

Just after i shot mine i went on to the lamp so scaffy could shoot, i scanned the lamp across the fields and saw one, bright eyed and bushy tailed about 25yds away sat watching us on the scaffold taking the pizz.

By the time scaffy got his gun loaded it got up and walked away into the hedge back out of sight.

Saw a few more i squeaked 2 from about 1/2 mile away across the fields to within 150yds guess what scaffy missed with his 243......this place is brilliant you just stand on the scaffold and wait for them you can see them 3/ 4 fields away because you are so high up. :look: :lol::lol:
