Paul in North Lincs.
Im not so bothered about the big numbers!!! just to find a trickle into a field would be good.....they are about but in batches of 20's-30's that seem to be ramming about everywhere........v. strange
Cranfield
The continuing mild weather seems to be stopping them flocking up in substantial numbers. Also the plentiful food options mean that big flocks hitting the only food field in the area, is possibly a thing of the past. I put about 150+ out of a wood on our Shoot yesterday, when I went to look at the birds. I still believe that, if you are on a good food crop, you are well concealed, your decoy spread is right, then any passing pigeon will come and have a look.
