dbroe333 Posted January 30, 2013 Report Share Posted January 30, 2013 Hello im living in ireland and looking at getting my first car in a few months.I do alot of shooting so looking for a small van or jeep.Was orginally set on a pajero however it would drink juice and be high in insurance.Now looking at a small van or the likes such as opel combi,peought parthner,berlingo, caddy that sort of think. plank06 Posted January 31, 2013 Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 Not sure if insurance is different where you live, but if yOur young and it's first car, then chances are, a van isn't going to be cheap, even the little ones! Even if they're for personal use, it has to be on a commercial policy! I wanted a Clio van, but it was cheaper to insure a Clio sport 182, which are notorious for expensive insurance! RED BEARD Posted January 31, 2013 Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 i can used to drive a berlingo van that belonged to the firm i worked for.it was hardly ever serviced,dogged up and down the motorway,heavily loaded with stuff,it hardly ever broke,pleasure to drive and was quite ecconomical too.
