Description

Very reluctant sale of AYA No2 12g side by side sidelock in near as-new condition (only one small dink in the stock which can be seen in the pictures).

Manufactured in 1974 (Eibar proof S1) but unused until 2009 when it was de-lanolined and serviced by ex Holland and Holland gunsmith.

26” barrels, cylinder and 3/4 chokes (I think) and 14 ½â€ length of pull.

Lovely engraving, detachable locks and beautifully balanced.

Regrettably, this lovely gun is just not being used.

£1250.

Advertised elsewhere so PM if interested please.

The seller of this gun doesn't appear to be a Pigeon Watch member, to contact them please use the details on Gun Watch.

Just to clarify - this is my gun and (contrary to what the advert has defaulted to) I am a PW member and can be contacted either by PM or by email.

I just need to wipe all the drooling saliva off the advert now.... :)

Someone is going to get a beauty.

I wouldn't give it away, problem is you have chosen the worst time to sell a sxs. Difficult to see what the woods like from your photo's, No 2's vary from being quite plain to very nice but they all benefit from a nice rubbed oil finish. It definately would be more saleable if it had 28" barrels but it is what it is. If your not desperate to sell I would try again in August/September time

Thanks for the reply. I am definitely not giving it away as, having fired less than 200 cartridges from new, it is in super condition. I had a dealer come and look at it yesterday who has made a not totally unreasonable offer but I would prefer it to go to someone who will enjoy it - not just someone who wants to make a profit out of it?
