Stuart1985
Afternoon I purchased a new scope (hawke sport-hd 4-12x50 ir scope model hk3018) for my HW77k. I finally got out to see what improvement to my shooting it would make, after spending a few hours plinking away and getting to grips with a mildot reticle scope I went to a local permission of mine to see if I could bag a rabbit or two. I was lucky enough to take five rabbits all taken within 25-35 yards with a solid and clean headshot. Then I popped into one of the store sheds of which usually has some feral pigeons, that the farmer really wants taken care of due to the amount of dropping on stock etc. four pigeons humanly dispatched Really rate this scope for the use on air rifle for close and medium range. Jega
Well done mate nice little bag you got there ,absolutley nothing wrong with that scope for what your doing.I've never seen the point in having a scope thats good for 200yds plus when the effective and sensible killing range of a sub 12ft/lb air rifle is around 40 to 45 yds. The Hawke range of scopes represent really good value for money, they dont mind getting wet or a bit of banging about in the field.
Stuart1985
Correct don't understand why people with sub 12ft/lb air rifle go crazy with scopes that go far beyond the capabilities of the air rifle. It's cheap but very good for what you pay for.

secretagentmole
I only have Hawke scopes, the glass works well with my eyes, like the value and the only problem I had (stiff parallax) was fixed under warranty!
steve_b_wales
Most Hawke 'scopes have a 10 year warranty, when purchased from new. I have used these 'scopes for many years on various rifles. In my opinion, they are excellent value for money.

Stuart1985
Thank Really enjoy using a springer, I only own springer air rifles, more enjoyable for me, however may purchase a pcp for feral clearances. Pretty tough going with a springer taking 70+ at a time.
