My Sons 3rd Shooting Lesson

I took my eldest son for his 3rd shooting lesson today. He's only 8 and is using a Webley and Scott 410 with 2 1/2'' 14 gram cartridges.

He hit over 60%, which on his 3rd lesson i thought was pretty good.

I was a bit peed off as my phone died when he was in his stride, he had a a run of 8 for 8...

Today I was one very proud Dad!

Thanks! Both of my boys are really keen and its a great way to spend some proper time with them!

I think it's a great way of teaching kids respect and responsibility too... Just looking forward to the next one now...

Edited to say , Looking forward to the lesson, not child! :) love them to bits but 2 is plenty for me!!!

A friend of mine has a small clay setup near Colchester, essex. Probably a bit far for you but he is great with kids. Plenty of patience and describes things in basic ways that kids can understand. If your interested let me know and I'll pm you his details.

Thanks, yep as you say a bit far, would need the passport ou to go that far from Norfolk

PM sent...

Edited to say, i just realised he has a website. Its not a big ground with loads of targets but its great for teaching people to shoot with no pressure from a big queue of people waiting to get on the stand...
