  1. Complete cull plans for Fallow and Munty on one estate and CWD on another, shoot a Norfolk Red which will complete the set, get nice representative heads of all the species for the new man cave, finish building said man cave. Take each of my boys duck shooting, game shooting and for an evening in a high seat when the weather warms up, going to be a busy year.

    Laptop advice

Moved completely to Mac at work, wouldn't go back, if you want to use it at a desk as well worth looking at a Thunderbolt Display. I needed to be able to operate Windows Software as well so went for Parallels on it, works well and allows you to operate both systems at once
  3. That's why I dropped out of the clubs on the wash, remember when I used to go 20 years ago in the week probably one other, then it became to many folks dropping an occasional a long range one so their mates thought they would have a go, it just got worse year on year, that and having to get there 2 hours before flight and sit in the dark, just to get a place.

As I have repeatedly said DNT, I have never objected to others buying shares, just a club with 500 members buying what has previously only excercised by individuals, so you will not allow more than 6 flights a season for each of your quarter shares and not allow them to shoot on the same day? This would then prevent additional pressure on the site etc, you seem to skirt round that issue, mine was not a case of only having my interest at heart I think I have already said that numerous times, also thank you for confirming that you would have taken the rights whether they were BASC affiliated clubs or not, I hope all club secretaries and chairmen in UK wildfowling clubs are now sitting up and listening, as you have said you will take their shooting if you do not like the way they run their club, "and have an open mind", to finally add why should a club be forced to join BASC? Last time I looked I believed we lived in a democracy not to be dictated to by those who think they know better and say we should all be BASC members, it's called choice I believe. Yes I am a BASC member but it's through choice not being told by someone else that I have to be.

Thank you for your clarification of the position of the east coast sporting ltd and Kent Wildfowlers etc, my "gripe" as you put it has never been that of the legal position of doing what the kwca have done it's always been the moral one, you have forced your club onto ground which currently has two clubs shooting the ground, would kwca have done this if they were BASC affiliated? through using a legal not moral right. I will declare my interest in that I have a share, I don't live in the village I live within 30 mins of the marsh, anyone could have bought rights, in the same way I did, I shoot the marsh usually 6 times a season, I am one individual suddenly you now have a club with control of 2 1/4 shares, which will be accessed by 500 members so I suspect Kwca will excercise thier rights a lot more than I an individual. How can this be good for the wildlife of the site and a reasonable sustainable usage? As for you sight of loads of transfers, I have seen 3 since you bought your first set and 2 of them have been yours, and as for the transfer to someone in Australia, you forgot to mention that it was under the will in 1977 for the husband and subsequent will for the wife in January 2014 transfer, and the Australian gentleman has the same family name, as the two deceased and the other recipient is a female living local so it's fair to assume a son and daughter inherited their fathers rights, so please don't **** up my back and tell me it's raining.

If you look back through my posts DNT you will see why I have a problem with these going from an individual to a club, I do not feel the need to repeat them as my reasons have not changed. I still believe in doing what they have the Kent Wildfowlers Association is morally and ethically corrupt, the persuit of further rights, has only strengthened my views, and their actions should cause a great deal of concern to other clubs throughout England and Wales, no shooting rights can be seen as safe as both Brancaster and Burnham club have/are finding out no doubt.

would that be the one not far from you as the goose flys and his mate further up the hill?

So the takeover of another clubs shooting by Kent Wildfowlers continues, today notification issued by Norfolk County Council, East Coast Sporting Ltd are requesting the transfer of a quarter share of the same right as held by the wild spaces fund, both have common registered address, and common directors according to companies house, but East Coast Sporting was incorporated January 2014. Not happy with taking the first quarter share it seems it's free game to buy more to take over the shooting from another club, where will it end when you have to be a member of Kent Wildfowlers to go in England, it appears they will stop at nothing
  9. very quiet Tony, I shoot from one end to the other, but a house build has severely limited the days out this season.
  10. Best morning for me 7 drake pochard on the washes normally get a few each year, two guests have had ringed ones, once had a drake of every English species of duck in 15 days, and not long back from getting my drake Scaup in Northern Ireland just Whitefront, Black Cock, Sika and Red deer left. A mate and I had a species challenge last year I won 34 species to 33, it's surprising how many species we are lucky enough to hunt in the UK, he now has to buy dinner for me and my wife with wine of my choice at a restaurant anywhere in the uk, it was great fun and I would recommend it to anyone.
  11. People who feel the quality of their day is based on the number of birds they have shot, guns who pillow case birds, guns who don't speak or say thanks to the beaters and pickers up at the end of the day.

Good for your club Bob, at least they will have the shooting they once had, on the plus side they are not paying the rumoured £15k a year for it

    Brancaster

Surely the best way Bob would be for a Thornham common rights holder to vest their right in the original local club? Kent have proved its legal with their actions at Brancaster, moral no but Legal yes, after all what's good for the goose, would like to see the cattle gate right holders make a prosecution, after all they offered the lease not Mr Betts. DNT you may have been offered rights on CL65, but you could always have said no from a moral perspective, now your actions have opened up the can of worms whereby more clubs are looking at buying rights, thus further increasing the numbers shooting the marsh, the cl65 rights were never intended to add another club, kent Wildfowlers will shoot the marsh I suspect more times in a season than I have in the last 9, approximately 65 flights

So your basically saying that Brancaster and Thornham are not well managed clubs in your opinion so are fair game? Please tell me why you have the power to make that judgement and I know one of the clubs and the land deal you are talking about, more a case of they didn't see the point in bidding against Kent, not that I see why any club should ask Kents permission to bid, seems like complete bullying tactics by Kent to me. Would Kent be the same club who told my shooting partner and me to keep our money as they were having some shooting we had, but they would chuck some crumbs and we could be ticket officers, the only problem was the seller couldn't lay straight in bed at night so the deal never happened and we still shoot the land after the threat of police involvement.
  15. Mat your welcome to come and look at my boat, only at TSC and shoot the washes 2/3 days a week come December and January
