EoinGalway
Well first night of the October the the temperture dropped below 10 degrees! Even if it was only 9 degrees there was a nice crisp breeze and i haven't been lamping for many months! I hand no lamp man so it was a solo effort .. just popped out to a island (with a road bridge) not far from my house, about 300 acres off short coastal grass with sheep grazing. Used the old aeroboard on the windscreen tonight as my battery in my caller was dead. These two came into me after about 10 minutes of calling. The Remington 55gr BT rounds dropped them like flys! Had very bad glare from the lamp back into the scope!!
hawkeye
Well done good shooting i had the same problem with glare, cured it by adding 2 sun shades on to the scope. PS just noticed where you have lamp on scope try moving as far back as you can this helped me. Then the scope is hideing the mod.. do you see what im trying to say ?? A nice cold spell would be nice.. end of October and still 10 degrees every night Less rain would also great, although the ducks were moving well last night!!
