NTTF's visit

I have delivered Dan and Shayne to Gatwick airport safe and sound without getting lost (take note martin cavie) and I am feeling a bit lonesome now :P Their stay was too short by far and the only bad thing that occured was the wet weather. This stopped Dan and me from having some nocturnal fun with the lurchers but a dog with a busted leg from mud is no laughing matter. I have experienced 8 days of pretty much non stop action thanks to those of you who came up trumps and in doing so travelled some 800 odd miles. Friendship, mickey taking, stories that would make you hair curl and some sound advice along the way.

So in no particular order here are the people that thanks are in order too.

Topgunners, Dave, Alan and their partners. We had two morning and evening flights, food, pigeon and crow bashing, food, banter, alcohol and story telling that made me cry with laughter and did I mention the food and alcohol ?

Tiercel who despite all I heard about him and wanted to believe turned out to be a top geezer, generous as a king and a bloody good laugh when I had a translator with me that is

Katie (alans daughter) for the donation of a bedroom cheers girl :/

Pavman (who knows every joke in the world and more) Sharon (top shooting totty and excellent cook and hostess) and Young Pav for his sea fishing assistance and getting me the double on the codling :/

.

Highlander who can not speak english to save his life but we managed to communicate by sign launguage (the translator coudn't fathom him either) for the use of his english country estate and facilites.

Cranfield for a excellent night out in Canterbury and stories about stupid yanks :good::P:good: and letting us see film Bramble the Otter hound.

Last and not least the rottie for the use of her hairdressers wagon so we could take all the luggage, ferrets, dog etc.

If I have forgotten anyone which I doubt I am sorry.

Hopefully Dan and Shayne will be back next year and we will have a proper english winter with all the undergrowth burnt off by frost.

Looking forward to next years trip big time roll on 2007 WOOOHOOO
