game_boy
Dont know if any of you have seen it but Mike Robinson's new TV series Heaven's Kitchen at Large is on UK TV Food just know, channel 259 sky. Anyway this program will be repeated again today at 9pm as it was on ealier this afternoon. Anyway in his usual gung ho attidue he's down in Devon out for a red prickett, he takes the shot but catches him a on the slow side and the deer just runs on as if nothing happens and ends up about 100 yards in the forest. Surprised they actually showed it... Have a look and see what you think... all the best game_boy

Lord Geordie
They MAY let if on air for a REASON to show how long and agonising it was for the thing to be shot You know what these Anti's will resort to to get their message across. Of course there will be the expected letters of complaint and most likely some anti going on TV to speak out against the so called attrocity LG

the pelt man
The shot of the red was very low but not back in the stomach, it done the job, i don't see what you are fussing about the Deer would have been in shock & never felt a thing. As for the Crayfish apart from a licence to catch them, as far as i know you can only sell farmed Crayfish that meet all the health standards which wild don't. But i could be wrong. 16 Bore
I think I can see what he is trying to do with the programme, but it's all a bit 'river cottage gone posh' There is just something about him I don't like, something comes across that makes me think he is right up himself. Last night was the second episode that I have watched and the second time I have told the TV that I think he is a tw at. I'm sure I saw him sat in that pigeon hide with the gun loaded and shut, propped up between his knees both the barrels under his chin . Did anyone else notice that while he was doing the piece about his oven ready partridge the voiceover woman called them pheasants twice? Lord Geordie
I saw him load the carts in and close the barrels WAY before he even saw any pigeons Also the Pigeon Breasts he used in the rolls was still bleeding when he placed it on the bread AND i would never eat at HIS place after seeing him sample the food with a spoon THEN dipping it back in to let his Commi taste also and then back in to stir the dish the HSE would have a field day as they were serving food up on Bales of straw which COULD have cow **** in it :( Nah I too think he is a bit of a plonker LG
