i think mark gichrist uses the crow versions in his videos. i have no experience of them but i would imagine they are an unnecesary gimmick.

personaly i would put the money towards a flapper or even a couple of bouncers/floaters to use with dead birds.

just my opinion. atb aga man.

I picked up one a couple of years ago for a fiver from usa, never worked on pidgeons, turned it into a magpie one, never worked on them either

I thought it would be great, on stubble it sits ok, but once shooting fields with growth, they get hidden by rape

thumbs down from me

Hi All,

Has anyone any experience of these please?

Thanks,

Mike.

Mike,

For £48.00 it would spend the cash on flock coated shells and leave the trash kit where it is....!!

If you hunt around for a deal then I recon you will end up with 16-18 decoys for that amount of cash or possibly more…

With the drillings coming up, add that number to your set up and they will show up much better than a over grown kids toy…

I bought one from the USA, so a lot cheaper than over here. I took the brackets off the 'dove' decoys, and fitted them to some Crow ones. It works a treat, as it gives extra movement in the pattern, which can be seen from a distance, and has helped in attracting corvids, especially jackdaw's, into my kill zone.
