Pro decoys or fuds?

Recommended Posts

I have pros, fuds and shells. My pros have turned a slightly purple colour in the sun and the plastic will break inside if you're not careful. The fuds look the most realistic when out in the field and i haven't broken one yet. You can get movement from shells, but i don't think movement is required if using in conjunction with a magnet or flapper.

I don't have a favourite as such, but the pros are the least value for money.

Cheers motty I'm of that exact opinion. I have a rotar and couple of flappers and bouncers. Tried shells on the rape will little joy. A mate put his fuds out and a few birds dropped in. I think the gadgets will add enough movement don't you think?

I would say so. I'm a bit lazy, so i can't be bothered to set decoys on spring sticks unless i have to. I get height by placing the shells on top of the crop. I think the movement of magnets is enough and the decoys don't need to move.
