blade Posted March 14, 2013 Report Share Posted March 14, 2013 My magnet is useing a 12v 17ah battery and a 12v7ah battery in about 3hrs .When i first brought it could get 2 full sessions from a 17ah battery .Both batterys nearly new and fully charged useing an optimate charger.Any ideas what could be draining the batteries so quickly .Magnet about 2 yrs old. ? fuggytail Posted March 14, 2013 Report Share Posted March 14, 2013 Hi mate mine seems to last longer in the summer months i only get 3 hours in the cold off a full charge batt i tryed a new batt but no change so i just put it down to weather .My mate had the same problem a few years ago but what he done woz made the wire alot longer into the hide and that made it slow down and run alot slower apart from that matey i havnt a clue Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

fielddweller Posted March 16, 2013 Report Share Posted March 16, 2013 I use a car battery when ever i can drive to the hide position,last all day at full speed.I find with the 12v sealed batteries they start to under perform after a year of so.
