whitey
Hi, I'm a fairly new ferret owner, and I wondered if anyone more experienced might be able to advise me of what action you take regarding your ferrets when firework displays are in the offing. Our waste of taxpayers' mo - sorry, municipal firework display in Ely won't be til the 11th, so I have a bit of time to prepare. Last year's was so loud the windows on our house shook; the dog wasn't bothered in the slightest by all the noise, happily, but I don't know how the ferrets might react. Our garden is pretty sheltered - Leylandii on three sides, and the hutches will be facing away from the display, but the noise is still considerable. If you have any suggestions or advice, I'd be happy to hear them. Thanks in advance for any help.
young gun
I'd imagine they'd be alright and not that bothered by the noise, i sometimes shoot bolting rabbits with my 12 and the ferrets are never bothered by the noise from it. Lancs Lad
I find ferrets are to hard to light and dont shoot far enough up in the sky to be used as fireworks..

Ferret Master
Mine never seem too bothered by fireworks even when we have had them in the garden. They just watch. FM
