kennyboy30
hi just been watching a sporting scene pigeon shooting dvd with david westwood noticed he had some nifty poles that go between your hide poles to strengthen them and you can also thread them through your net to stop it sagging just wondered if anyone knows where you can buy them from hope someone can help cheers kenny
Cosd
I made my own which I use on windy days. 6 feet telescopic fishing poles from the £ shop. Remove the end two sections from the thin end. Drill a 1/8 hole at each end and thread through a piece of garden wire. I make a loop with the garden wire just twisted together. Weighs next to nothing, very compact in the kit bag and you simply extend it to the size you need between hide poles and hang it on using the wire loops. I have three of them and when I want a roofed hide I set my back hide poles higher than the front ones, and i hang these rods one each side from the back pole to the front one. I then drape a spare net over the top. Hope that makes sense. Cos Edited March 19, 2013 by Cosd
