Amazed
With the new baby and work I haven't had chance to get out but tomorrow I have a whole half day to sit in a field and watch the pigeons on the other side Any quick ideas on how I could get some movement into my pattern I only have 20 shells and 3 full decks and want to make the most of my day. Thank Karl.
TIGHTCHOKE
Spring topped sticks or steel banding will get the decoys up in the breeze and give them some movement. A flapper if you have access to one is good too. Bouncers and floaters will also help.
karpman
Hacksaw blades will get you out of a tight spot. Snap em in half and thread your full body deaks on top for a feeding motion. Karpman
aga man
if you can get a couple of dead birds, simply put them on short canes 2 or 3 foot long. any wind will make them move. they work a treat no need to stretch the wings out. Karpman Bit on the stiff side? Need to be careful to wrap them in a bit of rag if snapping them as they can shatter and little bits fly everywhere. I got some coil springs, cut my plastic deek pegs off about 1 1/2" from the top then just twisted the springs onto the cut ends. Dead easy and if it gets very windy and the deeks are looking like break dancers I just wind the springs a bit further onto the pegs so they flex less.
